Not only is daewoo not a good car, but parts for that car are very hard to find, as is the reason they failed in America. No parts network. Don't buy it, you'll be sorry.

Daewoos are decent, but have not been in the past. Currently GM uses Daewoo to manufacture the Chevy Aveo. I would not consider buying a Daewoo made before 2002, at least not for that price.

daewoos are not good quality vehicles, i wouldnt recommend it............103K is a lot of miles for a 99.........plus check into who all had the car to get an idea how well it has been maintained but yeah, too many miles and the quality of those vehicles arent good....
Now if you just want something to drive the neighboorhood then maybe......I still say get a honda though

Daewoo went out of business for a while now. The cars are not reliable at all. Repair costs and depreciation values are high. Parts are difficult to find for such cars.
