IF this is true, then in the garden of eden...Eve was tempted by satan..Adam and Eve were the first people.Where did satan come from? I realize he was supposed to be the "best" angel until he was cast out of heaven...but the question stil remains...Where did satan come from?

To me none of this makes any sense. Things like this is what made me question the validity of religion in the first place.
I DO believe in the ultimate being. This world & its functions didn't create itself. There were programs to follow & rules set forth.
Sure the universe probably came from a big bang. But something had to make the bang possible. Evolution all well & good, yes, but something was programmed to make that possible.
I'm not an atheist because of religious reasons but rather for logical reasons. Something had to come from something.
But I don't believe in this Satan Devil character at all.
It's hokey.
God created an assistant???
What the hell does God need an "assistant" for anyhow?
This is not limited mankind this is Ultimate Being!
God needs nothing but God.
In fact this whole thing about God needing us makes no sense either. For what?
If God needs others then God is limited and not the ultimate being. And if what we refer to as God is not the ultimate being than who is? I ain't got time for no middlemen. Who's the top dog?
My theory on this whole universe is that it is nothing more than God exploded. All pieces and parts within are fractions of the whole, the ultimate. From a simple rock to the species of mankind to oil sludge.
Why this happened no one will ever know. We're only fractions and we can only get fractional information.
It is true. God always was and always will be. But hell if we'll ever know why that is or why it should be.

God created angels and humans with free-will. Free will is the ability to choose to obey God or reject God. Satan was a very beautiful and powerful angel but somehow he became prideful and wanted to be number one like God. Satan chose by his free-will to disobey God and a third of the angels chose to disobey God and join Satan in his rebellion. God cast them out of heaven down to the earth. Yes, God has always existed. God does not need a cause, because He has always existed. Satan, however was created. God did not create evil, God created angels and humans with free-will, and Satan chose to disobey God which is how evil came into existence, therefore it is Satan's fault. www.equip.org

God made everything in the universe. God made satan. Satan was originally an angle but was cast out of heaven as you previously stated.

Satan was created by God to be a friend and a helper, but God soon regretted it, cause Satan had a mind of his own, plus he was a pervert.
Later God created the human race, but soon regretted that too (it says in Genesis), so he got a bright idea. He let Satan loose to torment humans.
However if you are good, you can still go to heaven. I'm a saint and I'm holy, so I encourage you to be good and go to heaven.

satan was created by God as Lucifer the Archangel. Lucifer's existence is dependant on God allowing the countinuation of satan's existance.
No this does not make God evil or bad. satan has the same choice we do. to do good or evil. so far satan has chosen evil but satan can choose good at any time.

God designs people to be exactly who he knows they will be. People cannot behave contrary to the knowledge God possesses, so God created Satan knowing that Satan would defect and be the ruler of Hell.
God made Satan to be Satan. God planned it. God did it.

God made an angel named Lucifer when he made all the other angels. Lucifer chose to rebel and God cast him out of heaven with all the other angels who rebelled.
