Well, contrary to popular belief, I AM a broad! Ba dum CHHHH!

Actually, I got to go to Zermatt, Switzerland for a whole month when I was 18. I ate spaghetti every day because I couldn't stomach the fish-with-eyeballs our chalet kitchen produced, so I ended up with no money to spend on souvenirs. I enjoyed Raclette, Coupe Fraisse & Denmark, wonderful bread and cheese & wine, in the most gorgeous setting in the world, and honestly the most I remember about the whole experience is the beer pubs, drinking beer, and how excellent the food was (except for the fish-with-eyeballs thing.)

I think the best time I ever had was in Ecuador. My spouse, our two best friends and myself went. We hired a driver, went to several different eco-tourism lodges up in the Andes. The goofiest part of the trip was at Mitad del Mundo, the park in Quito that marks the Ecuator. I have a picture of me sitting on the line that marks the Ecuator eating a guinea pig. Yes, it does taste like chicken!

We saw amazing mountains and incredible birds, including 55 different species of hummingbirds. I could go on and on. It was so wonderful we are returning in December, though to the southern part of Ecuador.

I went on a 17-day tour of Europe, from London to Amsterdam, Koln, Austria, Liechenstein, Switzerland, Venice, Rome, Florence, Nice, Lyon, and Paris. Phew! It was the only time I've ever been to Europe and one of the best time I've had yet in my life.

I remember floating around on a inflatable raft in the ocean and watching a Jamaican man touching a baseball bat he held in front of himself.

Imagine my reaction when I realized this was no baseball bat!!!!!!

I was in Dublin for only one day and one night, but the people were great, very friendly, treating me like I was "home." And I got to be on national TV!
