The answer is that there are all kinds of answers. I am christian and see no problem with it. However there are christians who would disagree with me.

Without knowing your religious leanings this is tough to answer. I would suggest you speak with a person you trust A LOT. Do not speak with a teenage friend but rather speak to someone who has lived through a good chunk of life and whose life looks like they have peace and are loving and caring.
