Well, as everyone else has said, a car that's fast or luxurious would cost more to insure/maintain. The only cars that would be in that price range would have to be semi-old. A fast car that you could get might be: 1990-91 Dodge Stealth
Luxurious could be:
1985-93 Chrysler LeBaron
1991-92 Dodge Dynasty.
Or, you could get a Honda or a Toyota or something.

there is a compromise between cost price and running expenses. If you buy a fast or luxurious car for 5000 dollars it will be expensive to run, either in maintenance or insurance and fuel. Your choice.
A bike might be better.

golf/polo diesel in case you elect something stable and much less costly to insure. in basic terms purchase privately from elderly human beings, or commerce from a largish storage/dealership with a competent attractiveness. do not have faith inner maximum sellers with tattoos, rottweilers, community accents, different vehicles parked exterior their domicile, ash in the ashtray, and surprisingly not sellers who wink at you or act like they're your pal. Or while you're feeling adventurous - Ford Capri
