im thinking aout buying or getting some custom mufflers on my tiburon but i dont want one that sounds like a honda or a motorcycle you know the sound every honda makes. I want one to sound almost like the stock 350z sounds my tiburon sonds good stock but i want it to sound a little more sporty. what do you guys recomend for me? put it this way i want it to sound more like engine power just listen to the stock 350z exhaust it sound awsome i want to achieve that similar effect but i dont know which mufflers to buy. and please dont tell me to buy a z or anyhing simmilar i want somone to give me examples of mufflers i can use and why. thanks guys

You should chat with the people at NewTiburon.com. If you have the 4-cylinder engine, ElantraClub.com also has several sample sound clips of different mufflers. Heck, search on YouTube because there are lots crazy people out there who record the sound of their mufflers on their Tiburons for you. You'd probably want to go with a real muffler like Borla, DynoMax, Magnaflow, and not one of those can mufflers from APC or whatever. Check out the links.

Enrique c 's answer is good but i would recommend a dual inlet single outlet muffler for this application with the second inlet install piping back forward for approx 2 -2 1/2 feet and cap off this will produce a suction resonance chamber and get rid of that tin can sound , you can very the length for desired effect.[ Renault has used this trick for years even on the old gta alliances (due to space constraints they used basically another muffler with the outlet capped off) it really makes a difference]
