okay, so this boy broke up with his girlfriend or his girlfriend broke up with him, the story really never got straight and i didn't want to be constanty asking about it. but anyways, now he is single and me and him have been basically boyfriend and girlfriend just without the title. so we aren't going out but we still call eachother all the time, hang out, cuddle, kiss and make out....i talked to my friend about it and she told me that his friend told her that he liked me a lot but he just wanted to be single for awhile. well why would he want to be single when he likes me and knows i like him back? i mean i understand he needs time but he rushed right into this little thing with me and that was his choice. how can it even be considered single when he is pretty much seeing me all the time and kissing me? i don't know i just feel stupid for liking someone and kissing them when they just "want to stay single for awhile." but honestly, shouldn't i feel stupid?

aww, dont feel stupid..just talk to him about it. Tht's the best thing to do...dont go on what friend tell each other...if he says he needs time to be single then let him get his space but dont keep doing what you do ryte now...i.e. kissing, making out, etc.

Oh, he wants to remain "single" (and keep his options open) but still wants to have someone to hold and kiss and cuddle and make out with whenever he feels like it?

He's using you! "Single" means "single." No benefits. He wants his cake and eat it, too. You can do better. He's being selfish.

Don't worry about this. Enjoy each other's company and accept it for what it is. Labelling your relationship will only bring about expectations which will lead to disappointment down the road.

no, but you need to be careful about his intentions and not be a fallback for this person when he feels like being with you and then next he's single again.

He probably just wants to get in your pants. If he doesn't want to be seen with you in public (taking you out and such) but wants to make out and cuddle.......I see red flags everywhere.

Be careful.
