I have a Sony Camcorder that records on mini DVDs - I want to save the videos and stills to my computer so I can email them to family. Does anyone know how to do this?

I have been trying to do this for years. As with all Sony products they have something missing from the software that they provide you with. The program is called "Click to DVD" I believe, and it is only on Sony Vaio computers. I am looking for some other program to do this, but have yet to find one. The software they provide is useless. Sorry.

Hi - i also have Sony...

You need to use the cables provided with the camcorder and hook them into computer and convert the minidv format to mpeg using the software cd provided when u bought it...

if u dont have it, go to sony.com and it will be avialable in the downloads...

Its little bit of learning exercise to convert minidv to avi format..but once u learn it, its very easy :)
