insurance is provided with the rental. But there is a minimum age and you must have a licence. You are liable to pay for any collision damage up to around 500 pounds sterling unless you pay extra hire charge "CDW collision damage waiver".

If you own a vehicle already with insurance on it then your current insurance should cover you driving a rental vehicle.BUT CHECK WITH YOUR AGENT/INSURANCE COMPANY BEFORE DOING IT JUST TO BE SAFE. However if you do not own a vehicle at all you are wise to buy the insurance that the renal vehicle company offers. It pretty much absolves you for any responsibility for any damage done to the rental vehicle.

Insurance should be taken out on a vehicle that has been rented by you.
It is advisable (a must) for a rental.
Should any damage occur - (even if it is not your fault) you may be liable for costs, and loss of usage of a rented vehicle.

your personal insurance will cover it..
but pay the extra rip off the rental company ask just in case.
this way if there is an accident--your insurance is not involved..

you have to have your own insurance or I think you can buy it from the rental co. for a large price.

It is provided for the car, you pay extra. Get it, because an accident can happen even if your parked. It happened to me. A drunken driver hit it, while I was in my bed fast asleep. There was no cost out of my pocket
