Most of what we taste comes from sense of smell. So it could be your nasal linings are damaged.Go to your chemist get a nasal de-congestant and try that for a week, it worked miracles for me!
Perhaps try holding your nose, see if you still get the after taste.

Poor u, I have had similar problems in the past and discovered it was down to sinus problems. Modern antihistamines which do not make u drowsy might help.
Also heavy smoking and drinking might be a cause - not that I am suggesting ...............
Another cause blocked salivory glands - see your doctor and report back to me, I could do with a cure for that! Good luck.,

COULD BE THE START OF GUM DISEASE OR COUD BE RELATED TO KIDNEY PROBLEMS..........SEE A DENTIST FIRST AND IF EVERYTHING IS OK WITH YOUR MOUTH..... THEN SEE THE DR................PROCESS OF ELIMINATION I'M AFRAID.
