Is it me, or does Pangel always talk gobbledygook? LOL. Anyway, no, of course it is not a sin to use your mind that God gave you, to try and analyze things for yourself. The Bible was written thousands of years ago by many men, and much of it is NOT history, but rather allegory and symbolism. You are smart not to take it literally. After all, Jesus was always questioning the Pharisees about the law, and finding fault in it, Right?

Of course not. The Bible was written by many people. All the authors were inspired by God, but wrote in their own words, from their own points of view. It's bound to contradict itself at some point. The individual facts and details are not what's important, however. What's important is the general message (love) with which God inspired the authors. That's what's important, and that's never contradicted.
