When you buy dogs from Back Yard Breeders you get what you pay for.
He does not care at all about the health of the pups he produces.
If you do not want a deaf dog see if you can place the pup with a rescue or no kill shelter.
Next time you look at dogs make sure they have a contract and that is specifies things about health of the dog. And what the return policy is.
If her were and ethical breeder he would take the dog back with no problem if it is deaf. All the breeders I know do that if there are any health problems like deafness, blindness, hip problems.

Unless the breeder told the children that the dog was deaf, you can take him to small claims court, and you would win in any court in the land..Usually, just a certified letter stating that you are planning to do so , but you are giving him a chance to make it right, will suffice, as you can remind him that he took advantage of children, (impresses the judge, big time) and he will be responsible for all court costs, (about $120) besides any penalties the judge imposes...And I'm sure the judge will impose a punitive penatly.
Keep a copy of the letter..You will need it in court and when you file a claim, they ask if you tried to resove outside of court..

awwww, poor doggy. maybe one of your grandkids will like the dog? You can get a new watchdog from the humane society. Whatever you do, don't have the dog put to sleep just because he/she is deaf. Try to find a good home for him/her. Good luck.

coaching would be a sprint greater solid on the grounds which you will would desire to apply all seen instructions. With a classic dogs, you could push their rump down and say sit down, and no count the place you're, they'd pay attention you and associate the command with the action. With a deaf dogs, which could not be finished for glaring motives. you're your fiance will would desire to agree on the seen instructions as to not confuse your dogs. quite some nutrients rewards besides. on the grounds which you could not say solid boy, you'll be waiting to reward him while he does nicely, treats are the final thank you to bypass. as with every coaching consultation, shop them short. mutually as your dogs is a enormously intelligent dogs (maximum herding dogs are) he will would desire to place a brilliant style of attempt into his coaching. And continuously end coaching on a competent notice, mutually with while he does something the final option. while you're engaged on a sparkling command, and he in basic terms isn't getting, bypass back to an previous command that he's conscious, do it some circumstances, then end the consultation. additionally, "jackpot" rewards (aka, a competent quantity of treats) and play time are solid the right thank you to finalize the consultation. It we could him understand hes finished a competent interest and provides him incentive to bypass it returned next time. while you're as much as the job, i could say decide for it. particular desires dogs usually make up for their "defects" with the aid of being remarkable in yet in any different case.

Oh that is terrible. Yeah I'm sure there is something you can do about it. If it is a certified dog breeder I'm positive there is something you do.
Call a Lawyers Office and ask. That's what I would do.
Poor doggie :(

well, we have a dog that is deaf too, but she gradually became deaf, the best thing you can do is just let this dog have its life. Our dog is also blind, but that doesn't stop us from caring for her.
