I am friends with her but i want to be more i am also afraid that if i tell her and if she says no it will ruin our possible relationship and friendship.

at sometime your going to have to put it out there otherwise it's not fair to you... better sooner than later
if you tell her and it works great, if not than it wasn't meant to be
but it beats keeping it a secret... it really hurts, especially when they come to you with guy trouble and you're not the guy

i hear of this same situation all too often. Dont be afraid to ask this girl if she wants to take it a step further because you're never going to know if you dont ask her! If she says no, that's a tough loss but it shouldnt ruin your relationship/friendship. if it does then she probably wasnt good enough for you anyways. so i say go for it! i wish you luck-but i'm sure you will do fine. oh and "never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game!"

ask her friends, girls have a problem with telling all of their friends when they like a guy so her friends would know. or you could just tell her how you feel because if you dont you will never know what would have happened if you had told her the truth. sometimes it does ruin the friendship but i think you have to take the chance

Then you have to decide which is more important....wanting her a girlfriend or friend. It is true that a gf should be not only a lover but also a friend and I agree. But if she doesn't feel the same way then you will most likely ruin a friendship. It happened to me with a guy that I considered my best friend and that all I considered him as is a FRIEND. But he wanted more so now we barely ever talk.
So just be careful & go with your gut!

Oh man! I am going through the same thing dude! I guess you need to be honest with her. A girl likes an honest guys who is not afraid to tell them how they really feel. Go for it! I am sure she will say yes. Only if you are honest with her though! lol
