What does Santa and his gifty wifties have to do with religion? Santa is the one who brings the gifts, isn't he? He's the one that we set up a tree for and leave offerings of milk and cookies for---isn't he? Either you believe in Santa or not. But you can't pretend. He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, etc.

Jesus is the greatest gift to mankind. Material gain will get you nowhere but short term happiness. Like a vapor is here now but gone tommorrow.
Heavenly joy that Jesus gives is an eternal joy that lasts forever. But then only the true believers know what I'm talking about. Probably sounds like gobble de **** to you.
I just got out of church service so I'm still excited and filled with God's joy. Wish you could experience this. Then you would know the true meaning of happiness.

It's better to pretend you're a Christian. Most of them do. It's common and implicit knowledge among Christians that for the most part they don't believe those strange things, but they go along with it for the kids sake and for social reasons.
Why should you be any different? Go along with it, just like you do with Santa Clause and small children. Accept things as they are, and don't be like the atheists, always trying to deny everything.
I'm a saint and I'm holy, so I know what I'm talking about.

it extremely is a extraordinarily risk-free wager she already has a Bible, yet once you bypass right into a Christian e book place, you're able to come across a competent selection of learn aids. Atlases, commentaries, lifestyle examine, etc. From what you pronounced, i could suspect she's a King James version reader. something in step with a distinctive version or translation is probably not favorite as plenty. enable us to desire that she would be one among individuals who will mature sufficient to realize to be anti-Catholic is nonsensical.

The reason we give gifts to each other is to celebrate Christ that lives in each of us. Since God sent his only Son to die for every human being, all you have to do to get Christmas gifts is to be a human being. That would include whining, selfish demanding brats who are human beings too.

pretending to be christian kind of goes against the whole meaning of Christmas...
but you don't have to be christian to celebrate the holiday. yes, it is more meaningful and the day is in celebration of Christ's birth, but i know some atheists that celebrate Christmas more in the holiday spirit of being grateful for what you have and practicing to remember to be a decent human being, which pretending to be something you're not does not fall into that category.

Im an atheist and i still celebrate christmas just cos its an excuse to get presents. Probably not a good idea to pretend your christian but you dont have to tell them if they dont ask, theyll probably figure it out for themselves.

Hey Sheridan,
Why fake it?
Why not ask the Lord to forgive you and come into your life so that you can receive the greatest gift of all this Christmas season...the gift of eternal life!

For Christmas, it is nice to get presents, but also, for mommies and daddies, it is about being with family. One day when you grow up, you will not care so much about presents! But until then, just be honest with your mom when she takes you to bible class. I bet she can explain everything to you about Jesus and his birth, and maybe then you can understand it more. Merry Christmas!
