Small between meal treats of cat kibble seems to help level out blood sugar..but corn syrup or honey or the best being NutriCal (at pet supplies) work for immediate relief, followed by a scrambled egg or cottage cheese..

First, be clear -- there is NO Doberman in the Min-Pin breed. NONE...Nada.
Second, honey or hard candy is a great way to lift blood sugar. But -- are you sure there isn't something else going on? Has your dog seen a vet?

Small amounts of honey are a quick fix for low blood sugar. I give my dog a teaspoon of honey every time she vomits so that her blood sugar won't get too low, and I make sure she has lots of fresh water.
But it sounds to me like that dog seriously needs a trip to the vet.

Sorry about not answering your question but i HAVE to correct you. There is NO and i mean NO such thing as a "miniature doberman" It is a miniature pinscher. "Pinscher" is actually the German word for terrier and the miniature pinscher is actually an older breed than the doberman

I had a pomeranian that did this and i gave it a teaspoon of honey twice daily, this is a good remedy and a very cheap one. Karo syrup works also.

corn syrup will rapidly rasie blood surgar levels.
You need to find out why hers are low so get a vet appt right away.
But in an emergency corn syrup or honey will work.
