My wife works for Target at the women's footware section. Yesterday she was sick so I had to substitute there for her. I was kind of nervers at first, and then I found out I have nothing to do there! I hadn't have anyone take a look at the pantyhoses and stocking section! I wondered if anyone would buy pantyhoses nowadays?

Well, I just travelled back from Europe, and if you don't wear a pair of pantyhoses there, you're cheap.
Strongly hate those who don't wear stockings!!!

Sure women do.... and they totally eliminate "panty lines". with pants and skirts. Since most pantyhose have cotton in the crotches...they can be worn as underwear. In the cooler months they are warm, too. They also can be used as a little control for tummy, hips and thighs. Pantyhose are a great convenience and they also serve as figure enhancers....plus you can get a "smooth" rear and thigh area when wearing pants, jeans and skirts. Also when you are wearing heels your legs look sleek. Also pantyhose come in various colours to coordinate with your outfits ...Instad of worrying about whther women still wear pantyhose, you should learn how to spell and improve your grammar......nervers????

I always wear pantyhoses, lycra pantyhoses, be it winter or summer. And I'm not an old lady, I'm 24 and have always worn pantyhoses, even when I was younger. I do live in Europe and everybody around here wears pantyhoses (my country at least but I have seen it in other European countries as well) so maybe it's like Xiaolong said and it's an European thing. Although I wouldn't say we hate people who don't use them.

I wear pantyhose if I'm wearing a skirt and want to look professional. In the winter I wear tights under pants or skirts to stay a little warmer. I always wear something under skirts - either pantyhose or bike shorts - because some of us get to experience that wonderful phenomenon known as "chub rub."

Of course women wear stockings. This will never phase out. You can't get really dresses up with out stockings and a nice pair of pumps. It completes the outfit and keep the legs warm.
Maybe the women in the store thought your were strange, and how come Target allow you to sub for your wife? Do you work in another part of the store?
Anyway...stockings are still in.

Most people with office jobs wear them to work, I know I do, but most of the 18 year olds all wear thi highs. I started wearing them too, and they are great in summer and on dates, but I still wear mostly pantyhose for the office.

I rarely wear them but if it's the Winter and I'm in the mood to wear a mini skirt I will wear black or white pantyhose to keep my legs warm. I refuse to wear nude colored because that definately makes me think of old ladies!

Yes, women still wear them. Colored tights are very much still in fashion, and any professional woman knows you should always wear stockings with a suit skirt outfit.

I like buying paisley print, skull and crossbone print, stiped, and fluorescent coloured pantyhose, but for everyday casual wear, I don't pantyhose because they always have run on me.

I wear them for work, especially under skirts when the weather gets cooler. Most (if not all) of my female coworkers do, too. I don't know what the deal is with the women where you live!
