im thinking about this - nice eh for a qwick snack when watching the ball game?

Toasted cheese and onion with brown sauce! Brown bread is yum!

Oh and for that christmas treat. the mincemeat from mince pies!

Yes, but if you find out how to stop it sticking after using it about three times please let me know. I oiled it up first every time, honest. The secret must be to let it get cold before you try to pull off the burnt bits. I didn't, and now have bald patches where the non-stick has come off. (The Breville has, not me.)

Those toaster bags which you get from Lakeland do a similar job - you make a sandwich, stick them in the bag & then in the toaster. Doesn't crimp the edges, though.

I think they are a great invention. Which my family agree. You can put anything in the sandwich, including any leftovers from lunch. and hey presto you have an immediate hot pasty. I even used to make up these and leave to get cold and the kids took them as part of packed lunches.

i love the breville machine...grilled cheese sandwich in 2 min. be sure you butter the bread well and wipe it off after you grill sandwich to keep it clean. you might also want to spray it with non-stick spray.

cant beat cheese and onion...butter the outside of the bread, and make sure u leave it in long enough so its nice and crisp yummy !!!!

cheese and baked beans is the all time best. but do try banana and golden syrup. if you like banana fritters in syrup from the chinese you will love this.
