I've usually been getting iced white choc mocha with soy milk, but I have a feeling that the syrup they use contains milk... Does anyone know for sure? I have checked their website but it doesn't show ingredients... Thanks!

Your best and most accurate answer would come from http://www.starbucks.com. Go there and submit a question! They would know for certain.

Some of our bases, like white mocha, come to us bottled. We just pour them out right into our container and stick a clean pump in. I do not think the containers that they come in have the ingredient info, but I am not sure.

While you are on the website, you might want to ask them what a vegan should drink from Starbucks. I suspect that chai is probably vegan.

We always steam soy milk in a separate pitcher and use one thermometer for soy, so you should not ever have to worry about contamination.

A lot of the 'big meanie corporate' rumors about Starbucks just aren't true. They treat their employees VERY well and they do a lot for the environment. Did you know that you can get free used espresso grounds to help your garden grow, or that Starbucks hot cups are made with post-consumer waste? They are a very environmentally company, dealing in fair trade coffees and literally supporting small coffee growing communities worldwide--giving them things like health care and decent prices for product, not exploiting them.

Best of luck!

Yes you can put peppermint in any drink you happen to order at Starbucks. The syrup is available year round at any given location. The peppermint white mocha reminds me of eating a candy cane, so its nice to have that one near the holidays. The white chocoloate mocha without peppermint is a great go to drink that you can enjoy year round, Either way you will be satisfied. I hope this helped out!

Of course, starbucks wouldnt just put their recipes on the web. But, they do sell some of their products in the stores.
Also, you can try going to the shop itself and asking. If you still can't get it then. Try some non lactose drinks. (they should have them, considering that I have a couple of friends that are lactose untolerant)
