Sex and the attention being with a younger woman brings? Because I've been talking to this older man(44) and he doesn't seem to fit that stereotype. We have excellent conversation and we have tons in common even though I'm 17 years younger. I was just curious thats all! Thanks!

He's not like that though. He even told me(before we got close, but he knew that I liked him) that he wouldnt date a younger woman

No, don't let the haters get you down. Every man is different regardless of what the masses say. I think most men (not boys) will date a woman they feel a connection with. That woman could be older or younger as long as you feel a mental, emotional, and physical connection with them. Any man secure in himself doesn't need a younger woman for attention.
Although some men are shallow and will date a younger woman for the reasons of sex and attention.
If you have any sense of things in life and relationships you should be able to take one look at him and know his intentions. Just follow your instincts, they are usually right.

Not all older man are just after the sex and attention. I have been dating a man 23 years older then me for 3 years now and it is the best relationship. We just brought a house together and have a daughter as well.

OK it is like this men are more immature than women. My girl and I are 10 years apart she 24 me 34. Now I think I have more of a problem with the age than she has. But all in all we have fun and its been 2 years and its still fun. Age has no limits just laws!

That and a younger woman brings youth and energy and older men want to try to hang on to the fountain of youth for they are already on the downhill side. I find older men tiring to date for they want to take my energy from me.
