i don't think u should ask him,i know how u feel not noing wat 2 do but take things slow! people don't realize how much life they hav ahead of them if u slow things down and talk to him more often and show u truly care 4 him without drawing conclusions so quickly! let him c the real u and he will start to lik you and then maybe he might get the courage to ask u out! thats how its supposed to b right! if that doesn't work out so well cuz u know how guys can get sometimes they crawl into that shell and can't get out and they get all scared to ask another girl talk to him and casually ask him out but don't say hey do u want to go out say do u want to grab a coffee later or something that he likes TAKE IT NICE AND SLOW! HOPE this helps!

No. In a relationship, the boy should be the initiator. He always should. If you're not sure he likes you, then don't ask him out!

But I kind of agree with about half of the people who answered: It couldn't hurt to try to get to know him better. Just don't pressure yourself or him.

Absolutely not. Let him approach you ... and that way, if it doesn't work, it falls on his shoulders...
often if you take a man's role, he will kick you for it, some way or another, sooner or later .... it is up to you to let him
know you are approachable,.... I mean, don't hang out a flag and wave it at him, he will catch it ... if he is not interested, he will not respond. You will save yourself a lot of hurt feelings that way. Otherwise , he will appreciate you for being patient. It doesn't take that long ... you will see.

God! Why are women so pushy!
You don't need to play his role. Leave him alone, Play YOUR role.
That even applies to brother-sister
realationships. I once did something to my brother which was out of line.. It took him years, but he finally got me for it... I have to admit, I was really wrong. Today, I would never interfere with him that way. Oh, well.... live and learn.

I wouldn't do that. It's worth a try but I don't think it will work. Try to bring him into liking you more than his girlfriend. (If he has one) Just keep talking to him and share your thoughts.

that school part does weigh heavily on that question. I would do it anyway- but I never cared about my popularity.

Go for it.
