If it's a fresh wound, then vaseline could help keep it moist, which is one of the best things you can do to avoid scarring. If it's an older scar, then your best bet is to visit your general practitioner (it takes a while to see a dermatologist) and get his or her opinion. They may be able to prescribe something for you or will give you a referral. If it's bad, there's nothing that can be done overnight. The good news is that you can buy a thicker makeup than you would buy for your face and you don't have to worry about the oil content. It will cover the scar. There's always nylons! Good luck

My dermatologist recommened vaseline and massage to the scar. I had a skin cancer removed and it left a scar on my face. I think the combined massage and vaseline or truthfully vitamin e will work. The massaging helps. No scar will disappear completely and certainly not in a week.

Vaseline won't, but try some vitamin E-cream. That helped me where I had a skin graft.

if it's a big scar go to a dermatologist to help with making it less visible over time, as for tomorrow only make up and clothing can cover it. vaseline helps but a dermatologist is more helpful .

Sadly, that is just a rumor. However, the idea is to massage the area to prevent the thickening of scar tissue. You'll still have a scar, though.

no, i dont think so. what you need to do is apply a hot water bottle to aid circulation. but that is if it is a bruise as scars take a long time to heal/disappear. for scars try cocoa butter scar serum. i bought mine a few weeks ago and seems to be working

No, nothing will by tomorrow, but vitiman E capsules will over time reduce the scar mark.
