There this gray cat with beautiful yellow eyes that always sits on my front porch. My parents bought it cat food, and it always come back every day, but my neighbors also gives the stary cats food too. I have know this cat since it was kitten. It used to be my friend's cat but she couldn't keep it and so had to abandoned it (him...i think). When we go near the cat, it goes near us or meow at us. What do you think?

Forgot to mention, my landlord won't let us have dogs, cats, or any big animals. If we want one, we would have to pay a couple of hundreds of dollars to keep one because he thinks the animals will damaged the buildings or something. Plus, I have allergies problem, especialyl to animals who have furs. ^^''' Yet, I still love them. It is not that bad, I will just have some rashes if I touch them, and have a cold. I love the cat and I really want to keep him, and I think my parents too, but we can't T-T We haven't even touch the cat; just fed him.

It sounds like this cat has adopted your family especially since your parents feed it. I would take him in and give him lots of love. Also a trip to the vet might be in order especially if it's been a while since your friend left him behind
In addition to your comment... I would actively try to find the cat a new (maybe even Indoor) home where he can be petted and sit in some one's lap. Not that you guys are not taking care of him. It just sounds like you want to do more but can't so the best thing would be find a great home where he can make someone very happy and you will feel good knowing you took care of him the best way you could. You could even keep a check on him if you find him a home with someone you know :)

you realize, i'd bypass knock on my acquaintances door and ask them. it particularly is going to likely be a large thank you to introduce your self and family individuals in case you haven't any longer already met. i'm specific that the cat belongs to them and not the previous proprietors. As a wide-unfold rule maximum cat proprietors would in no way abandon their animals. regrettably, ninety 9% of shelters won't take an person cat, they only don't have the room. The community pound will purely euthanize the cat. So if I have been you i'd first verify with your acquaintances then no rely if it is not thier cat re-positioned up. The cat won't harm your baby. usually its the oter way around. numerous luck to you.

I have a cat that "moved" to my house from her owners across the street. She was really skinny, and we fed and got her back healthy. She just refused to go back home, even when the owners come get her, she come right back. The cat must feel comfortable and safe around you. It sounds like a perfect fit between the 2 of you.

It's pretty obvious that kitty likes you and your family. If you can afford the time and are willing to bear the financial costs of keeping a pet responsibly, then do think about taking the poor fella in. He/she obviously seems like a good tempered kitty who just wants someone to love and love him/her back!!! :)

I think you should take the cat, bring it to a vet or a free service in your area, get him or her it's shots, get him or her neutered/spayed, throw a collar on him/her throw s/he a lot of love, kindness and tenderness, name him/her and you got yourself a sweet animal who will spend most of the time out of doors but will love YOU as you have given him or her happiness.
Consider the feline as a gift from above.

I'd try to get to come inside. Do you remember his name?Maybe if you call him by his name he'll come inside. He could make a very good pet, and it seems like he has already adopted you as his humans.

THE POOR THING LIKES &TRUSTS YOU& YOUR FAMILY... I'VE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME AND YES I'VE HAD A BUNCH OF FELINES AT ONE TIME,BUT THEY CAN SENSE THE KIND ORF PERSON THAT YOU ARE,AND IT MAY BE SEARCHING FOR A FAMILY.CAN YOUTAKE HER/HIM IN? OR FIND IT A GOOD HOME?.
ANIMALS SHOULD NEVER,EVER BE ABANDONED! THEY HAVE FEELINGS TOO.AND WHEN THEY ARE USED TO A FAMILY IT'S HARD FOR THEM TO SURVIVE ON THEIR OWN.
