I yes, I can accept this picture: God is an old senile elder, who did some great things in the past, but recently he lost contact with the world, can do nothing, listen to nobody, helps nobody. He is far from omnipotent. Only his children thought - years ago - he can do anything, but since than even they grow up.

Ohh, he looks like and behaves like m grandfather...

I hope you mean "infinite" and not infinitive.

And no, there's no portrayal -- however appealing -- that could persuade me to accept the concept of a god. Now, if you had actual evidence of the existence of such an entity, then that would be different.

No. Nothing in my experience leads me to believe in anything omnipotent or infinite. And perfection is in the eye of the beholder, as in anything is perfect to me if I choose to see it that way. So, no.

Still no. If he is portrayes is not someone who is perfect, then he is just like humans. How can he be then considered greater than us then? Anyway, even now only people say that he is perfect but he is not. He can never make something too heavy that even he cannot carry. Get it? If he makes something too heavy, then he cannot carry it and again he is not perfect!

How hes portrayed certainly doesn't do much for his image. He could do with a make over, and a bit of re-invention to make him more user friendly.
