We call it Slumgum (my father started the name, darned if I could ever figure it out), but in spite of the name, it is good 1 lb ground meat (beef or turkey or chicken) 1 can (14) oz diced tomatoes 1 medium onion, chopped 2 ribs of celery, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped Cook these ingredients together until the meat is broken up in to small chunks and browned. The veggies should be translucent. While that is cooking, put on a pot of water large enough to hold 1/2 pound of macaroni noodles. When it comes to a boil, add the macaroni. Cook as directed on the box. Drain, and add to the meat mixture. Stir. If it doesn't look very tomato-ish, add some tomato juice (or V-8, or tomato sauce -- whatever is handy). Cook all together for about 4-10 minutes to make sure everything is nice and hot. Serve.
