Why would you want to be mean to your neighbor? The bible says there is no fear in perfect love. It also says love covers A multitude of wrongs. That being said I have certain neighbors that I enjoy talking to and some I just wave to. Reaping and sewing. Sew love get it back, sew hate and guess what's coming your way.

And so you think that love will offer no consequences then? I love my husband dearly. But if he ever cheated on me there would definitely be consequences. Does that mean that he does not cheat because he fears me? Or because he knows that I love him and he loves me so he does not do it because of love?

Did your parents ever punish you for doing something you were told not to? Did they do it because they love you and want the best for you and that means teaching you that there are consequences for the choices you make?

Your choices should be made based on right and wrong. Only you can answer what is right or wrong for you.

No we shouldn't but there is validity in these as teaching tools. Fear is the beginning of Wisdom remember and once a person gets smarter he learns there is another kind of fear and that is fear of hurting someone instead of fear for your own well-being.

It's not either/or. Decisions are not made either just out of fear or love. There's a great chasm of neutral attitude between the extremes.

love of course is the best way because if one does not understand then one fears and what one fears one is ready to destroy and if one destroys then life is no more for that which was destroyed.
