you should at least start by talking on the phone with him but DON'T give him you're number.. have him give you his.
if he turns out to actually be the nice guy he claims then yes, tell him you'll meet him in a VERY public place. (shopping mall, crowded restaurants etc.)
if he starts to get creepy, don't be afraid to report him.. just remember that there are online stalkers out there.

Don't be a total dumbell!!! He can't possibly love you, having never met you, nor you love him. He is trying to score with you, maybe even kill you, how do you know? Anyone can say they love you, and are a Christian so as to make you think he is a safe person, which makes me believe otherwise more than ever. you met this person on line?? someone on line can tell you anything they want to, you don't know anything about him,he could be a stalker and rapist anything! before you go off and meet him maybe you should talk to him on the phone for a while(dont give him your number or address get his) and get to know him a lot better. and if you do meet him take a friend with you don't go alone.personally i wouldn't meet him, you can only love someone if you know them well enough, he might like you but if hes saying he loves you i would be careful. anyway good luck
