Well if he's going out with you regularly then he probably likes you, if not I don't see how you could do a type of test anyway. The only real tests you can do is be friendly with him..offer if he wants to come over or something and see what he does.

I personally think just blatantly asking is always the best, fastest, easiest, and most direct approach. If he doesn't he doesn't... good you can stop waiting around, if he does WOOOOOT! Lol
Anyways, I don't like to "Test" my boyfriend as it is manipulative and you end up getting mad, I just talk to him, and say what I have to say... it works well

yeah watch a movie with him and see how close you sit next to eachother. play a game of wreatling and see how he oes it with you if when he gerts you down oes he stay on top of you for a little while or does he get right up.

ask him, if someone where to tell u that she likes u, wat would ur reaction be? he'll get the hint that u like him, and he'll go for it if he likes u. it works every time
