Don't overanalyze this situation. Follow your heart and your instincts. Personally, I would slowly back off. It sounds like its causing too much stress for your life. Remember, there are 300 million people in the USA. He is 1; there is more than one match.

Half of what you hear is bs and the other half is usually lies. Some people have a hard time seeing anyone happy and need big red bows for their **** stirring spoons. Especially if this other man has ulterior motives. Trust your gut and go with that. Keep your guard up, but dont base your opinion on what someone else has to say about someone.

Trust your self, and don't talk your self out of what comes to naturally. If your mind says run or there is a doubt, run, if not stay and play the game till the bitter end the choice is yours and yours alone.

Identify that this coach does not have a conflict of interest,
IE( that he has nothing to gain by your upset)
Its really a simple choice of if you want to be with
this guy or not. The fact that your having second thoughts
now is not good. THINK

When in doubt tell the guy what is being said about him without telling his name.
watch his reaction .
You will know the truth ...
or say nothing at all and find out for your self as time goes on.

this is NOT clear

I can't even tell what you MIGHT be talking about.

If ya feel like your life is a lie, just get real with yourself first , then others too.

Maybe the coach wants to get with you and is just dissing that guy.
