When my father died, I said to my wife, "It's either real or it's not. It's crunch time. Either God is real or He is not." I am glad to say that we have found the reality that is God. God was real before my Dad's death, and He is real today. God answered prayers before, and He still does so. God loves us, John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
