cut bread into cubes,fry in olive oil

cut up slices of bread into small squares.

beat 1 egg yolk with a little milk (and flavour if u want)

dip the cubes of bread into the egg yolk mixture- lightly

heat up the pan

pour a little oil into it (too much will make it soggy)

wait until the oil is quite hot

place the cubes into the pan

let it fry for a few minutes till crispy and golden

voila- croutons!!!

Toast some bread and cut it into small cubes.

There you have your croutons just need some soup next!

Dry, nearly stale bread cut into cubes in a bowl. Add flavourings (eg. herbs, pepper, curry powder, chilli, garlic) and a good glug of olive oil, and stir well. Roast on a baking tray, in a hot oven for 10-15 mins.

CROUTONS ARE JUST FRIED BREAD, JUST DICE THE BREAD AND FRY TILL BROWN TURNING SO AS NOT TO BURN THEM, YOU MIGHT LIKE TO ADD A BIT OF GARLIC, THIS GIVES IT A NICE TASTE.
