I am a huge Womens Boxing fan. There has been an influx of Olympic level competitors and they are certainly weaving out the fluff in each weight class.

Ali certainly has the muscles and the beauty, which means she's marketable. And oh yes being Ali's Daughter means the marketing will be successful no matter what.

However he career has been handled too finely, and for good reason. She would get her head knocked off if she faught Leticia Robinson, Ijeoma Egbunine, or Anne Wolf.

Any of the three would floor Ali within 5 rounds. Anne Wolf would end it in Rounds 1 or 2.

She is lots of fun to watch, but she will make her name fighting "The Great White Hopefuls" and we all know thats true. Thats big money.

However, even though Daddy Ali did just that, fought as many "Great White Hopefuls" to fuel his fanbase, he ALWAYS FAUGHT the #1 contender. Daddy Ali never dodged a bullet, and WANTED to take on the very best. And he beat the very best.

So Ali's Daughter has the flash, but truly needs to step up if she even wants the term "Legend" to be attatched to her name. Because the same woman that can take womens boxing to the mainstream needs to not only fuel her fanbase, but folow Daddy Ali and use that fuel to light the entire Boxing World on fire.

That is YET to be seen from Queen Ali.

Laila is extremely overrated. She scared to fight Ann Wolfe because Ann would kick her butt. Laila has made a career out of fighting middle aged house moms. The only tough fight she's had was when she fought Joe Fraizer's daughter. If that fight had gone 1 more round, Laila would have gotten knocked out. And you knew she was hurt because she strongly stated that there wouldn't be a rematch, even though Mrs. Fraizer wanted one. Laila won on points because Fraizer wasn't a good boxer, but she could take a punch and deliver a mean left hook. Laila is a punk and a bully, beating on old women.

Swim gal ~
She's not, she's extremely overrated. She's trying to define her career by fighting and defeating woman she outweighs by 10 to 15 pounds. She had a deal for a fight on the table with Leticia Robinson after her and her manager Husband went to see Robinson fight a fighter that was suppose to give her a tough battle and watch Robinson unmercifully beat her opponent until the referee called a halt to the beating, the offer quickly came off the table.

They (Ali and her Husband) had a deal to fight Anne Wolfe, but as soon as they (Ali and her husband) got wind that Anne would most likely give her problems, that offer got taken off the table, instead Ali fought Shelley Burton, who Vegas odds makers wouldn't even place odds on.

She's making her career off her Fathers legacy and she disgraces one of the greatest names in boxing. She didn't take her husbands last name because "There ain't no money in it" that pretty much sums up Laila.

In the realm of Women's boxing today, she is a top 5, but I don't really think that is saying much. Stop for a moment and think. Women's boxing is not very well developed, and women regularly turn pro with no amateur experience. Some of them look like uncoordinated windmills in the ring! One way to develop the womens side, is to bring it into the olympics. Thereby more young ladies will begin training at an early age, and actually bring some skill with them when they do turn pro. Remember when she fought Cristy Martin? Really, this fight should not have happened due to differences in size/weight. But the public demanded, and the commissions allowed, the fight to happen. It was probably one of the better fights at the time. Both ladies wanted a payday, and deserved one. But there was no one out there for them to fight that could draw revenue, except each other. And Christy was in her mid 30's when she fought.
