Money and mathematical&logical skills.

Note: Make sure that your soda store is in some district or place that is popular in town. I'll suggest you to open it near a school or in a "shopping zone". Do not open your store in a location where the payment is too high for you to handle (such as in a mall).

Money and a profitable market. Are the folks in your projected area the type that would buy from a specialty store rather than a grocery or convenience store?

Make sure you are in an area where people who would drink sodas (like school-aged kids) are likely to be found. The kind of business you are considering will depend heavily on pedestrian sidewalk traffic. It's not the kind of business people would drive to and park, like Radio Shack or something. Probably a strip mall, or even an indoor mall would be the place to establish it.
