There is a local bout at a kinda small revenue. It is proffesional boxing, but I heard you have to be 18, even if accompanied by a parent, to get in. Is this true?

Depending on the venue YES. I fought in shows in some nightclubs where the round card girls were in sexy lingerie (very adult themed) If the promoter says "18 and older" then it's 18 and older. Sorry Bro.

There is only one state Athletic Commission that has such a rule, New York. You must be 18 to get in UNLESS you have a parent with you, and even then you must be at least 8.

No you dont im 16 and i go watch some live boxin matches with my dad and friends in L.A. Im sure u dont have to be 18 but they dont want litttle kids there cus then they will want to try it out

I am pritty sure no. but I do know that you have to be at least 18 to enter a casino.

not to watch boxing but that might be the rule of the venue if they serve alcohol or sumthing.
