I looked all over the internet to try to find information of how to compute the cost of a 30 story building which is going to be made out of steel and concrete and glass. Can anyone help me please? Will the square-foot method or the volume method work?

Square foot method (generally).

This information is proprietary for most. As a suggestion, check lease rates in your area, and assume that the purchase value is 10 times the annual lease rate X the amount of square feet. Your cost has to be below that by 10% or so.
