You must first wonder what the hell he was doing for the previous trillion, god zillion years.
Was he standing in the middle of nothing and being the god of nothing?
What the hell was his reason for being?
He couldn't be considered a god at that time.
Wouldn't he have to be god of something?

No, you don't got it.
The universe is not more powerful and omnipotent that God. The universe is a very large finite object. God is infinite. Infinite > finite.
The universe is an inanimate object and has no intelligence. God is omnipotent. Omnipotent > no intelligence.
Your question is a poor version of the "Can God create a rock so heavy that he cannot lift it?" A-ha! And no, He cannot. But that is not a limitation on his omnipotence or omniscience, instead being a limitation of your question. God can do all things that are possible. This question, however, is definitionally impossible. Like asking God to draw a circle with four 90 degree angles. A-ha! Sadly, a circle with four 90 degree angles ceases to be a circle and becomes a square. Has nothing to do with omniscience of omnipotence.
Your question is a logical fallacy.

Eureka! thank about this for a second.
God is "all" powerful, there is nothing more powerful than God. He is "omnipotent". You said it.
He did created the universe but, the universe is "not all" powerful. Remember now, God is the author of the creation. That means God is in total control..........
om·nip·o·tent (Åm-nÄp'É-tÉnt)
adj.
Having unlimited or universal power, authority, or force; all-powerful.
One having unlimited power or authority: the bureaucratic omnipotents.
Omnipotent God.

After the new earth the Resurrected and Raptured saints will "be like him, for we shall see him as he is". We will have his "powers" and will "reign with him", we will be "kings and priests". Each saint will have his own, ill say region, of the universe. Heaven wont be a big party, the saints will have work to do, being kings and priests as we reign over creation with God himself.
The bible also says that we will at this point be "above the angles". We will have more power than them, however less than God. We will even have more power than Satan (lucipher) himself while he was at Gods side second in command over the whole creation.

God by logic cannot create anything more powerful than himself because of this. There is no limit to his power. its not possible to say God is only 100 powerful, and something else is 1001 powerful. No matter how much power he gives a creation, his power is already greater, there is no limit

I'm not into getting points by answering useless questions, but hey...I'm here, so I will say something.
No.God is beyond creation , and we cannot possibly or even remotely comprehend that. We are the created. He is the creator. Think of it as the 14th dimension or something like that.

If God can create something greater than God itself, than God is not omnipotent. If he cannot create such thing than there is something he cannot do. So he is not omnipotent again.
There is a contradiction regardless he can or he cannot. This contradiction can be solved easily: there is no God.

Another example of a paradox.
This is a logical fallacy. It's usually taught in the first ten or fifteen minutes of a logic class.
