Don't you think it's odd that the Hindu religion encouraged women to jump into the funeral pyre?

when their husbands died? I mean that is kind of like mocking Jesus when he tells his Church to pick up it's cross and follow him don't you think?

I think they also believe it's OK to kill your wife if she cheats on you.

i thinks its unusual, but it has nothing to do with Jesus. its was probrably just a cultural thing

That was the custom of the time. no it was not spitting on jesus.
