If it's cooked that's fine and NO bones. Just remember that any cooked meat has had taurine destroyed by the cooking process and can never be a substitute for commercial cat food which has taurine added. Without taurine in the diet cats can go blind and/or develop fatal heart problems.
Any cooked meat is OK for cats as "treats" and you should stay away from bologna, bacon or any overprocessed meat which has too much salt.
I feed my cats ground RAW turkey with supplements for calcium, etc. The raw meat and especially the hearts and gizzards of a turkey or chicken are very rich in taurine.

Your initial question had me wonder what you meant. I thought that you were asking if it was OK, for your kittens. to feed them the meat of a human.
I sure am glad it wasn't what I thought. Amen!
You can feed them turkey but I would mix it with some rice, all cooked of course.

lawl I thought you meant the meat of a human ...
It's fine to give them real meat, in theory, but the problem with doing this is that their digestive systems are probably acclimated to cat food and they could have painful indigestion from eating meat all of a sudden. Keep it to a small treat, and don't make a habit of offering them meat treats because they may start demanding meat and refuse cat food. Feeding a meat diet to cats can get costly and inconvenient.

Turkey is acceptable, but can cause gastrointestinal problems in some individual animals.
So if you feed turkey to your animals, do so carefully, and keep an eye on them for signs of trouble.

it won't hurt them to have a little ground cooked turkey- just not a lot as it will make them sick- always it should be cooked...and don't give them human meat *LOL* I know what your question meant but to look at it implies that you are feeding them actual human beings- best wishes, dez

Yes you can feed you cat people food but it is better to keep the kitten on cat food only that will stop a lot of begging later on my cat has never been fed people food and she never begs. I got her at two & a half years old.

Deli meats is worse for them because there is a lot of salt but it's okay as a treat once in a while...other than that meat is okay once in a while too, just make sure there's no bones!
