Do you like have to be physically/sexually atracted to someone for the relationship to work?

Kinda. You have to like how they act when you are alone with him, also how they act when you are with him and his friends, and how he acts when you are with him and your friends. Alot of guys attitudes change with a different setting, or different people. Keep an eye out for that.

But as a relationship grows, sex becomes a big part of it. And you have to be atracted to some one to want to have them that close to you... or maybe you are just desprate. You almost have to think they are sooo handsome, or Hot, or Sexy that you want to show them off. You love holding hands with them around other hot guys, to let them know you are taking and loving it!

Personally I believe you have to have some attraction between the two of you or there will never be those fireworks that you see in the movie when you kiss.

You dont want to base the relationship on looks but dont leave it out. You dont want to be stuck together with someone that when you look at them you get a disgusted look. Right?

At first, I was not physically attracted to my husband. As I got to know him, his physical attributes became much more appealing.

After 15 years of marriage, I see my husband as adorable, with a great sense of humor and a loving personality. Tall dark and handsome? not for me. My guy is 1" shorter than me, is almost bald and has more love handles than one person should have. BUT, HE IS THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON IN THE WORLD AND I WOULDN'T TRADE HIM FOR ANYTHING...not even Johnny Depp. Thank goodness I looked inside of this guy because otherwise, I would have missed a spectular human being.

If its a sexual relationship then yes. That person must have at least one physical quality been eyes,breast or hair tht makes u attracted to them sexually. Othrwise its purely a friendship or bodering on family relationship that sort of thing.

Yes. I mean dont get me wrong the guy could have a wonderful personality and what not but if your not attracted to him physcially or sexually then what would be the point to take it any futher than just a friendship.

Or...you will look for greener pastures and either run to them or be mad that you can't.

Either way, it is important. It isn't the biggest piece of the pie, but it definatly isn't the smallest.

No! not at all ! my past boyfriends... one of them wasn't particularly sexy.. or attractive... But I connected with him at a different intellectual level! and I totally fell for him!!!! and he began to become attractive to me! then i thought he was extremely sexy! then he was extremely everythings! relatinoships and feelings grow! if you like someone and you aren't sexually attracted to them things can work out if you give them a chance.. if you are shallow then probably not.. good luck
