What do you do when you are interested in them? When your not? What about in a classroom setting with lecture going on? Do you stare back?

I'll make eye contact with the person, smile shyly, and look away again. No particular strategy behind it, it's just what I've usually done.

If i catch someone checking me out, I will stare at them too if I'm interested in them, if I'm not then I'll just glance at him then look away. If i'm in a classroom setting with a lecture going on, I will definitely stare back at him if I'm interested.

If i like them back, I just smile or stare back...if i think they're perverts i roll my eyes...in a classroom setting i just look at themback. =)

Yea, I just stare back. When I'm not interested I just look at them for a sec, then just look back at whatever I was looking at before I looked at him.

if its during a lecture and im interested i give em a wink, if not i just give a small smile and look away.
