i'm german and the plural of Auflandsaufenthalt is NOT Auslandsaufenthalten but Auflandsaufenthalte.

Far be it from me to argue with native German speakers, but surely Auslandsaufenthalt refers to the permission for a person, resident in Germany, but not holding a German passport, to remain out side Germany for a period of time and then return.
