I was going to ask you to "Get real." Then I did a search for a recipe for homemade marshmellows. Well......... the recipes call for unflavored gelatin, and we all know what that is made from. So I guess the answer is "Yes".

some more traditional recipes will use beef by products such as gelatin. they are up dating recipe all the time to make them more available to different eating habits. the best thing is to find all the names for animal setting agents and read the ingredients on the packet or look for the vegaterian or vegan friendly logos. p.s. marsh mallow is actually a herb.
