I need drywall hung and taped for my room addition. I know there will be a lot of variables that go into the price but i was wondering if there was something of a standard price. I had a painter tell me that painting is about 2 a square foot plus or minus. Is there a set price for drywall fer square foot or sheet? thanks!!!

Call three drywall people and get bids.
Measure the square wall footage and the ceiling square footage so you can tell them on the phone. Also be able to tell them the number of openings.
You can calculate the actual product needed based on the square footage.
Professional taping and finishing is IMPORTANT.

I would contact some drywall contractors in your area and get 3 or 4 bids.
