I would use it to help my husbands family who live on a Hutterite Colony and have been ex-communicated because they have chosen a different path, which is following Jesus and to be saved.
You might not understand this, but to make a long story short, on a Hutterite Colony, they believe that because they live there on the Colony they are going to Heaven and are saved from the outside world, even though they drink, party and do things they are not suppose to do, and in church they think that if they go they are saved, wheather they listen to the surmon or not. Well, several members have stopped this and have taken it further and now the Colonys have ex-communicated them and some might have to leave, and being raised like this, they will need all the help they can get to start a new life on the "outside world" My husband left this colony 10 years ago.
Anyway, this is what I would do with a million dollars if I had it.
To know more about Hutterites in case you are not sure what they are, there are websites:

or just type inHutterites on your search bar and several sites will come up.

I am the typical woman who spends the money on her family all the time so with one million dollars my mind can't get past I would finally have enough to buy the fancy underwear I wanted, I would then build an old folks home for people to put their loved ones when they need vacations from watching them themselves because I know first hand you do not get any breaks when you try to take care of your loved ones at home. It is sad , but, usually you don't even get any help from your other family members. If you volunteer, your IT.

First, i would buy my mother a house and a new car. Same thing for my father. I would pay off my bills. Then i would build a place where homeless people can stay and possibly go thru rehad (those who need it), shelter them, help them find a job they can get their own place. I would also adopt about 2-3 kids. Buy a house

Pay off school loans. Build a studio and apt for me. Get my mom a new kitchen and car. Get health insurance. Give away a lot to charities.

I would put it in several high-yield savings accounts and live off the interest for the rest of my life. Maybe start a financial portfolio. I would take up residence in a nice apartment.

buy a large house and adopt a lot of children-older ones, and the ones nobody seems to want-get those poor kids out of run down orphanages and inadequate foster care

I would bank it and let it accrue interest for a while. Then I would sit back and enjoy a beer knowing that all of my nieces and nephews would never have to worry about college tuition.
