He didn't, it is alive and well, but you are not allowed to know where it is.
It almost died during the drought of 2,507 B.C. but we were able to keep it thriving with blood sacrifices.

You've raised a good point here. Actually the tree of life is a metaphor. Satan is a metaphor, tree that bears the knowledge of good and evil is a metaphor. The truth of who we are in the beginning are hidden in this metaphors. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary fairy tale story. But one would experience excitement if one could unravel the mystery. It's like finding out the secret in the movie "DA VINCE CODE".
I thought I have unraveled it but found it pointless to talk about it here because not everyone are ready to accept it.
Your question is telling me something that you are going close to find out the secret soon. Keep focus and you will see what I mean.

i've got questioned this formerly and pondered it. i believe like i'm going to have an evidence for you. Adam and Eve ate from the tree of wisdom of solid and Evil, and that they did get carry of. With that wisdom sin nature substitute into presented to mankind, continuously and ever. even nonetheless the soul is eternal, there's a heaven and a hell it somewhat is rather actual. i believe the tree of life substitute into heaven difficulty, because of the fact it says in Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, enable him pay attention what the Spirit saith unto the church homes; To him that overcometh will I provide to consume of the tree of life, that's interior the middle of the paradise of God. The backyard of Eden substitute right into a heaven of kinds. a place with out sin. as quickly as sin entered with the aid of way of guy, guy substitute into forged out. The tree of life is reserved for those in heaven. i believe Adam and Eve ate from the tree of life freely mutually as interior the backyard, with out sin.

well, according to the Genesis story the Bible god(s) didn't want the competition so (t)he(y) exiled Adam and Eve away from the Tree of Life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever
Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

the tree of life gives the eater of it eternal life. its what kept adam and eve alive in the garden for so long. but after they ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, G-d said "i'd better kick them out of the garden because if they keep eating from the tree of life then they will be just like me." and so G-d booted them. one of the reasons people at the beginning of the bible lived so long is because of the aftereffects of the fruit from the tree of life that adam and eve had been eating to prolong their life. as generations passed and the distance between them and adam and eve grew farther, the effects of the fruit wore off and people began living shorter and shorter lives until they reached the regular human life span.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command to not eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Thus they were condemned to death, as God warned. After disobedience to God they lost the right and priviledge to eat from the Tree of Life. It's rather sad to realize that, with every other tree from which they could eat -including the Tree of life, until their disobedience- they chose to eat from the only tree from which they were not to eat its fruit.

I think some sects of Christianity teach that the cross was the tree of life; the one Jesus died on...
the whole parallel of the Garden of Eden versus the Garden of Gethsamane; the conflict of good versus evil...only this time the Second Adam (Jesus) made the correct decision.

The tree of life would enable Adam and Eve to live forever.
Genesis 3:22 And Jehovah God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil, and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.
Adam & Eve were warned not to eat from the tree of good and evil. God told them if they did they would die. And here we are, we have a choice also, to come to God by Jesus Christ, or die with Satan.

Yes, that is true, so man (generic) would not live forever here on this fallen earth in his fallen state.
He took away the Tree of Life so that we could be redeemed unto Himself.

It gave Adam & Eve knowledge to be able to question everything God told them so far. It's sort of like this site for Christians who are willing to listen & consider the other's point of view.

the tree was knowledge, it wasnt a literal tree. it was the mind of man made curious, and for that we knew that we would die, not live in ignorant bliss until we actually did.
dont believe the bible anymore that the cat in the hat stories. man wrote them, therefore they are unreliable. man is unreliable, and a printed book that has had many authors and editors is suspicious.
