Don't waste your time chasing someone who doesn't want to be chased.
Find you someone who is willing to talk to you and doesn't use his mom for a call screener.

I would not call him at all. You should talk to him about this. You have been making an effort to contact him, and he has not at all. If you call him frequently, these incidents should send a message to you. If he honestly likes you, you need to give him some space and time alone (don't call him that often, at most once a week). If it doesn't seem he likes you that much, doesn't respect you, or doesn't hang out with you a lot, then he probably has lost interest. If he can't care enough to call you, then there is a problem. Talk to him about it.
Don't call him every day. Call him once a week, but talk to him first. Just ask him why he isn't returning your calls. Don't be aggressive, since he may have a good reason and that will frighten him.

No more than half as much as he calls you. It comes across as clingy and desperate if girls call too much. When you have left a message, the other party needs the right to choose whether to return or not return the call. Calling again is pushy, at least I don't like it when people do that to me. I have a situation with my sons, girls who call too much irritate my sons and the whole family as well. If my sons don't call back it's not because the message was kept from them, they got the message and don't WANT to call back. They don't tell the girl that though because they don't want to hurt a girl's feelings. A lot of guys really don't like to talk on the phone unless they have a specific reason, like to ask a question or make plans to meet. I don't know your situation but I would say to be sure to notice the reaction you're getting and act accordingly to the wishes of the home you're calling, because you don't want to become something the boy associates with annoyance in his mind or it will be over. Good luck

You are going to drive him away if you call too much. For one his mother won't like it and she has influence over the phone. And second NO guy likes some clingy female bothering him all day. Twice a week is plenty. You better wise up fast or no boy will want you around.
And the rest of you people in here this is a 13 or 14 year old kid asking this question.

If you call him and he isn't there, don't keep calling him. 1) That will make his parents annoyed at you. 2) It might make him feel a little weird. I would just call him once and just wait for him to call you back. Just go find something else to do. It's hard, trust me I know, but you can't keep calling his house every 5 minutes.
