my 4month old puppy has a soft bump just on his belly..it hasnt done any harm and he doesent hurt him..hes still a very active puppy could this be a hernia ?? help im 13 and i dont want him to die..my moms dog had one just like it when she was small and the dog lived to be 12 of our years HELP me please

Most likely it is an umbilical hernia, meaning that the muscle of his abdominal wall did not close where his umbilical cord came out. If the lump does not get larger, and he is acting fine, just have it checked out with his next set of shots. But if it gets big quickly, especially if he is acting sick, get him checked.
Just a little suggestion - if you are only 13, having sexy in your name online might not be the wisest thing.

It could be a hernia. Take the puppy to the vet for a check-up and ask them.

Agre with the previous posters. Could very well be a hernia. Your puppy really needs to be seen by the vet ASAP!

Probably is a heria. We had a kitten born with one that hung out of her belly but she was fine. We couldnt keep her so I dunno what happened to her. Can you not take your puppy to the vet and see if they can do anything for him like a sling that goes around his belly?

Please get your mother to take your puppy to the vet's office. It could certainly be a hernia.
