I AM TAKING MY DRIVING TEST TOMORROW AND I AM USING MY FRIEND'S CAR BUT HER NAME IS ON THE INSURANCE AND THE CAR IS REGISTERD IN HER FATHER'S NAME. WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR DRIVING TEST YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR DRIVING PERMIT, PROOF OF INSURANCE AND CAR REGISTERATION. NOW DOES THE NAME ON THE REGISTRATION NEED TO MATCH THE NAME ON THE INSURANCE OR CAN IT BE DIFFERENT.

No, it does not matter, so long as the registration and the insurance are issued in the same name.

They make you run through the steps of checking the lights, horn, turn indicators and brake lights. Nine times out of ten, people are so nervous they leave the headlights on. If you remember to turn them off, it will impress the driving tester.

They want to see what type of car you have and if it's safe for the road. When I took my test they asked me if the car was mine and then they check to make sure all signals are working and the car is fit for the road and that you won't be in danger to others. I would call and ask them if you can use your friends car.

I am fairly confident that it doesn't matter as long as the registered owner is present and gives consent.

Best of luck.
