Analogous or parallel to the phrase "miscarriage of justice", it is similarly AND GLARINGLY clear that there has been an obvious "miscarriage of religion" in both cases that you cited.
Such is the work of the GREEDY LEADERS who have misled the BLIND FOLLOWERS with all kinds of deceit, lies and falsehoods.
But if you objectively study and understand "The Message" that religion brings, it is undoubtedly one of Peace...
Peace be with you.

I am speaking from my own little corner of Christianity. I am not trying to represent everyone.
Christianity has always been a religion of love and peace. Look at what Jesus and the apostles went through. Jesus could have called down legions of angels to destroy the wicked but He didn't. Instead He lived His life as an example of how we should live our lives.
Unfortunately, various individuals have made some grievous mistakes in the 2000 year history of Christianity. Christianity may have been used as an excuse for bloodshed but that is just a front for those who want to shed blood anyway. Anytime Christianity is being used as an excuse for treating some person or some group of people badly, then Christianity is being mis-applied.

I think, the dedication is the key here. Also, the Islam is a law in many countries. A legal measures are applied, based solely on the Islam. That is the difference. In middle ages, when countries ridden by Christianity were killing the ´´infidels to Jesus-God thing, it was about the same horrible, as what Jidah does today. In these days of course, it stands out very clearly and very wrong, because the civilization has reached most of the world countries and a secular law is in effect. sadly, this does not applies to uneducated tribes in every Islamic country in the world.

Give me a break with this christian extremist BS. Christians are not knee deep in blood? They've been persecuted throughout history much like jews. That is such a crock and its apparant you've been brainwashed by the liberal media.

What about the violence from those who misrepresent history with such misleading presuppositions?
Looks like religious intolerance to me, Little Miss Pigotry.
The fact that you equate Islamic violence with Christianity shows your profound ignorance.

Some Christians have done evil things that are against what Jesus taught. Look at the example set by Jesus, and then look at the example set by muhammad who was a thief, rapist, murderer, and pedophile who went so far as to marry a 6 year old girl names Ayesha when he was 53. Islam as taught by muhammad has never been peaceful. Christianity, as taught by Jesus, leads to peace.

just because men use religion to murder and control people doesn't mean the religion itself is violent. all it means is that people twist the truth to benefit them. by the way war is apart of life.

All religious practices at one point practice peace by virtue of sleep whether they like it or not.
