You can get a skating coach.
it doesn't matter what level skater you are, how old you are or how long you want to continue skating, a coach will guide you personally to be a better skater!

Go to your rink, and just ask the people behind the desk for a name of a coach, or if you know skaters in the area, ask around to see what coaches are good in the area.

You can also do group classes, just ask at the desk, they will fun to do with friends but will probobly not be as sucessfull.

i went to a session once too, and yeah it's hard! It helps if you can rollerblade, because it's the same thing...so try and do that in the meantime then go back on the ice.....or just go to another session! Personally, if i had a choice between rollerblading and ice skating i'd choose ice skating....practice makes perfect!

Start with the bar and gradually wean yourself off when you gain confidence. It's a great feeling when you can whizz around that rink unaided!
