Pale colored stools are not known as steatorrhea. That is excessive fat excreted in the stool. Those stools have a characteristic foul smell.
I don't know what color your stools are. If you'd said clay colored (whitish or gray), it could mean a problem with your liver or gallbladder. Along with the foods we eat, bile (produced in the liver & stored in the gallbladder) gives stool it's color. But you mention no other physical symptoms.
Semi-digested food could mean that you don't chew your food well enough before swallowing. Yet you mention that you've always been slim. This could be signifiicant.
As all your tests so far have come back within normal, it may not be something that should worry you. However, if you wish to pursue this I'd advise you to seek a referral to a Gastroenterologist for a more definitive answer as to why you pass food so quickly through your GI tract.

Sounds like you're not chewing your food properly. Do you rush meals? Have a balanced diet / getting enough fibre? Do you drink enough water? Have you ever considered having a colonic? If you're finding semi digested food in there ( a little is normal - a lot means something isn't working along your digestive tract somewhere) then maybe talk to a dietician - they could give you advice on what to eat. It could be you have an intolerance to certain foods - best speak to a professional if you are concerned. Good luck with that!

It means: get that pale, pale-poo-ey butt to a doctor! Unfortunately, I'm serious. You might want to call in first, because it's likely you'll have to take some poo samples. Gross but necessary. There's no way for us to tell exactly what it is, so bring that poo to your doc!

Pale poo is know technically as steatorrhea and is due to bile not dealing with the fat in your diet or other mal absorbtion issues. It need medical inetervention so make an appointment ASAP to see your doctor...;

I was a student nurse and remember being on a surgical ward on placement. I was advised that any change in colour of sputum (spit) urine or feces should be referred to a doctor and a specimen (sample) sent away to the lab for testing to find out what if any the problem may be.
I think you should ask your local GP for a specimen pot and explain again to him that you would like it sent away to the hospital lab for further investigations; no way as he not recommended this course of action for you!.
Who knows your feces may just be that way! get it checked out! put your mind at ease. Hope you are OK.

I think you'd better go and have a talk with your doctor first, he'll probably send you to an internal medical specialist and then they'll take specialized tests. Take care and good luck
